ANA GRISELDA HINE (Watercolor)

                          

Ana Griselda is one of the best watercolor artists in Costa Rica and we are proud to have her with us! Ana Griselda obtained her BA degree from the School of Fine Arts at the University of Costa Rica. She then continued her graduate education and received her Masters degree at University of Ohio in Cincinnati. She has worked as a professor at the University of Costa Rica from 1976 until 1990 where she taught watercolor painting and drawing among other different forms of art. She has participated in many individual as well as collective exhibits in Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Puerto Rico, USA, China, Costa Rica and Germany. Ana Griselda has also received national awards for her work in watercolor painting. Since 1990, she has dedicated to teaching watercolor painting at her own workshop. Ana Griselda has illustrated several books in Costa Rica such as the well known “Concherías” by Aquiles J. Echeverría, published by the “Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED)”. Ana Griselda is one of the co-founders of the National Watercolor Painters Association where she has served as the president from 2002 until 2004.
