Situated in one of the richest flora and fauna areas, this spiritual sanctuary of virgin forests connects rivers and streams. Businessman Federico Gallegos and his wife Haydee Salazar along with their son Marcelo Lopes own and operate this amazingly beautiful resort.
This resort is relatively close to San José (about 1 ½ h driving through breathtaking Braulio Carrillo National Park) and remains pure and pristine. The resort not only offers fresh and natural food in each meal but spectacular views and ecotouristic activities in house (canopy zip- line, horse back riding, nature trails, tubing, botanical garden with medicinal plants) that attract the interest of research biologists as well as nature lovers. The resort was build to blend with the natural setting.
Two yoga platforms are available for our retreats. One is located close the main building and the other one is a couple of kilometers away blended in the forest close the natural setting of the waterfalls. Dozens of heliconia species surround more than 60 rooms available in the resort. The Spa facilities offer a variety of massage therapies from stone therapy, reflexology or Shiatsu to deep tissue, reductive and relation massages. Beauty treatments (complete facial, clay and mineral salt wrap, nature mud wrap, waxing, pedicures and manicures) are also available.
