Nango Murray

Costa Rican born Nango Murray is a Certified Yoga Teacher in Interdisciplinary Yoga, having received her Teacher's Training at the renowned Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica led by instructors Don and Amba Stapleton, Ph.D.  She has also taken intensive courses in Yin Yoga, led by instructors Ann Hunt and Biff Mithoefer.  Nango has also taken training in the Anusara Yoga lineage, including Immersions I, II and III with Lois Nesbitt and many workshops with Jordan Bloom, Desiree Rumbaugh, Kenny Graham and Mariela Cruz.   Nango combines in her classes the different yoga styles. integrating breathing techniques (Pranayama) with meditation and the Anusara principles of alignment for the Asana practice. She teaches in San Jose' at the Kapoli Holistic Centre, Chakra Lounge, Corpore Sano, Kasasana and the Yoga Altamonte Institute, as well as teaching Yoga to the University of Costa Rica Dance Company.  Nango has been a professional classical and modern dancer, choreographer and director at her own studio “Danzarte School of Dance" and co-founder and director of the dance company "Danza Contemporanea Independiente”. Her partner Manuel Obregón, is among the best known composers of Costa Rica and founder of the “Papaya Orchestra” and the Papaya Music Label  , rescuing the sounds and roots of Central and South American music.  His recording and DVD, "Simbiosis:  Piano and Rainforest"  just went Platinum.
