MYSTICA LODGE (Arenal)
Located in the Province of Guanacaste, Mystica Lodge overlooks Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. Transfer to Mystica Lodge will take place the day after arrival to San José. The lodge is located about 4-5 hours from San José. An overnight at the colorful and artistic upscale Hotel Don Carlos in San José will be required upon arrival and the night before departure to your respective hometowns. Mystica Lodge is owned and operated by Italian born Barbara and Francesco. They went to Costa Rica and fell in love with the land and the tropical beauty of this exquisite landscape of mountains, valleys and volcanoes.
In 1994 Mystica Lodge opened its doors to the public to provide an environment of comfort, relaxation and good home made Mediterranean cooking. Mystica Lodge has a total of 7 rustic gorgeous rooms. At Mystica is where we offer our Wind and Water Yoga retreats for small groups (maximum 14-16 people). The Yoga platform or “The Sanctuary” is located in the forest few steps from the lodge besides a tranquil stream that provides nothing more than serenity, appropriate to our holistic experience. Ecotours (thermal waters, canopy, visit and hike at Rio Celeste) were carefully chosen to provide a different experience to places that are not your regular touristy routes.
